What goes wrong

Your system works hardest when comfort matters most.

DFW heat pushes HVAC systems hard. Most problems start small: a dirty coil, weak capacitor, refrigerant issue, airflow restriction, or duct leak. The first sign homeowners notice is usually a hot house or a higher bill.

01

Longer runtime

The system runs longer to reach the same temperature.

02

Uneven rooms

Bedrooms, additions, and upstairs spaces stop cooling evenly.

03

Emergency failure

A small issue becomes a no-cool call during peak season.

What we do

HVAC services under one roof.

Install, repair, maintenance, refrigerant service, ductwork, and emergency response.

specialty

System Install

Full residential HVAC replacement from teardown to startup. We size the system for your home and DFW climate, not just what fits on the truck.

common

Repair

Same-day diagnostic and repair on any make or model. We carry common parts on every truck so most calls close in one visit.

common

Maintenance

Quarterly tune-ups that keep your system running at rated efficiency. Filter swap, coil clean, refrigerant check, and a written health report.

specialty

Refrigerant Service

Leak detection and recharge for R-22, R-410A, and R-32 systems. We find the source first so the recharge actually holds.

common

Ductwork

Inspection, sealing, and replacement for supply and return runs. Leaky ducts are one of the biggest efficiency killers in DFW homes.

emergency

Emergency Response

Same-day response for no-heat and no-cool calls. DFW summers do not wait and neither do we.

Lantern Guardians

Monitoring comes with eligible new installs during beta.

If your HVAC install qualifies, we add Emporia monitoring when the new system goes in. That gives Lantern a baseline for how your equipment should run, so service calls start with real data instead of guesswork.

FAQ

Common HVAC questions.

How often should I service my HVAC?

Once before cooling season (spring) and once before heating season (fall). DFW systems run harder than most parts of the country, so skipping a tune-up year means more wear on the compressor and coils. Quarterly checks are even better if you want to stay ahead of issues.

What SEER rating do you recommend for a DFW home?

For most DFW homes, a 16 to 18 SEER2 system hits the right balance of upfront cost and long-term savings. If your utility rates are high or you run the AC more than eight months a year, moving to 20 SEER2 pays back faster. We run the math for your specific home on every install quote.

Do you handle ducted and ductless systems?

Both. Ducted central systems for whole-home cooling, and ductless mini-splits for room additions, garage conversions, or zones that the main system does not reach well. We size and install either.

What is your emergency response time in summer?

We prioritize same-day for no-cool calls during peak season. Response time depends on call volume, but we are transparent about the queue when you call. Guardians homes move to the front of that line.

Will sensor install void my manufacturer warranty?

No. Emporia sensors mount externally and do not touch refrigerant lines or internal wiring. They read power draw and runtime data without modifying the unit. Your manufacturer warranty stays intact.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, on full system replacements. We can walk you through available options when we put together your install quote. No pressure to decide on the spot.
